Development & Revitalization

There’s a lot going on around the Mill – from new roofs to complete building renovations.

Cottages:

• Braxton – new floors
• Calhoun – new roof, new underpinnings, partial new floor
• Harrison – new roof
• Kanawha – fundraising is underway for major renovation
• Lewis – major renovation in 2002
• Marion – new roof
• Monroe – new floors
• Northern Panhandle – new roof, ‘on deck’ for major renovation
• Upshur – new roof; fundraising is underway for major renovation
• Jackson Lodge – major renovation in 2005; new roof in 2006
• Mt. Vernon Dining Hall – serving meals again as renovation is completed!
• W.Va. Building – supplemental lighting, roof repairs & paint
• Assembly Hall – new roof
• Electric Energy Center – new heating & cooling system, interior renovation February 2009
• Flameway Hall – upgraded electrical service to accomodate new air conditioning
• Pool – replaced in 2005
• Teepi Shrine – renovated in 2005
• W.Va. Fire Academy – dedicated June 24, 2008
