Welcome to WVU Jackson’s Mill

WVU Jackson’s Mill, home to West Virginia 4-H camping, is a rustic-style conference and gala facility in a historic heritage-based setting a few miles outside of Weston, W.Va. Jackson’s Mill is also home to the West Virginia Fire Academy, a one-of-a-kind training facility for volunteer and professional firefighters from around the state and nation.

Airstrip: Open to air traffic, walkers welcome. For your safety, please don’t walk on the runway!

Farmstead Our spring season begins in April. Bookings for spring school groups are currently being accepted. Until then, tours are by advance arrangement only. The General Store is usually open on weekdays, but we recommend that you call ahead before making a special trip.

Swimming Pool: Closed for the season. See you next summer!
