Welcome to WVU Jackson’s Mill
WVU Jackson’s Mill, home to West Virginia 4-H camping, is a rustic-style conference and event facility in an historic, heritage-based setting a few miles outside of Weston, W.Va. Jackson’s Mill is also home to the West Virginia Fire Academy, a one-of-a-kind training facility for volunteer and professional firefighters from around the state and nation.
Current Grounds Status
Main Grounds: Open to the public unless otherwise noted. Closed to public June 9 – 15, 2013. ALL walkers must use the airstrip property.
Airstrip: Closed to air traffic through Friday, July 19. Walkers are welcome. For your safety, please do not walk on the runway!
Farmstead: Open 10am-5pm, Wednesday through Saturday.
Pool Schedule: Pool hours are always contingent on weather. Due to a very busy camp calendar, there are no weekday public swim hours in June.
